 Shoo this week has been a doozy for me personally! I got some sort of stomach bug on Tuesday that took me out! Thankfully, my husband also works from home as a Beachbody Coach with me, so I could rest while he took care of our 2.5 and 5 year old on our FIRST SNOW DAY! I mean half of me hates that I missed it bc I was laying in bed and the other half is like hey...you didn't have to freeze your butt off this year in the snow!  Normally that's ALL ME bc in years past, my husband has always worked outside of the home at his corporate job on snow days.

To say I am grateful he now works with me, well that's a major gratitude in my life this week. He totally stepped up and took care of the family!


I have been doing a workout program called 6 Weeks of the Work, and I just wanted to share a little bit about my journey of it with you.

So prior to this program, I had completed MM100 (Morning Meltdown 100) and while I LOVED that no workout repeated, the music was upbeat and fun, there was 10 different styles of workout, I will say 100 days was looooong for me, so I was grateful to complete the program and move into 6 Weeks of the Work, but dang this program is tough - and like tough in a good way, but it's really challenging me!  While MM100 helped me with some cardio shape 6 Weeks of the Work is challenging my muscle endurance.

It's helping me with agility, mobility and gaining muscle strength for sure.  Trainer, Amoila Cesar, who works with NBA Athletes and Celebrities has a no BS policy and brings it!  We're doing some of your typical moves from planks, pull-ups, push-ups, curls, but then he adds on simple twists like the lunges with the curls and jumping to switch which lunge leg is forward, or pull-ups with your knees up to make you engage your core differently. He also provides moves you can do if you can't do the pull-ups bc you don't have a bar.  If you do have a bar, I say for sure get a pull-up assist to help some of the way, yes even my husbands has used it at times.  You also need loops and sliders like you may have seen from 80 Day Obsession + weights. I use anywhere from 5lbs to 20lbs.  So this is a great one to take to the gym if you're low on equipment - stream it to you phone, put your wireless headphones in and rock on!

I've made quite a few of these recipes lately in the meal plan this week and have to recommend check ig it out for the Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins, I mean what family doesn't like muffins?!  Plus the Shepherds Pie in a Mason Jar is such a unique and yummy lunch recipe, your coworkers (even if that's your kids for us SAHM's) are going to want to know how you did it!  And let me tell you, those Vegan Sugar Cookies...my whole family, husband and kiddos, wanted to eat the entire pan out of the oven!  Oh and i haven't made the cannoli cups...umm but you better believe I am...can you tell I have a sweet's tooth!?!? I'm so grateful I have an awesome support team helping put all this together for not just you, but for me too!
