Are you ready for the holidays? NO WAY!
Good! Me Neither!
Let’s start by saying you’re busy.
Meal planning has gone out the window.
There’s tons of family gatherings & school parties here where I live. Where you live it may be the same OR the total opposite and you’re STILL IN FRIGGIN LOCKDOWN - ugh. First, if you are, please let me know so I can pray for your sanity - send me a message on IG and tell me where you’re from and what it’s like so I can pray more specifically for your town.
Let me gift you this gratitude guide in case you’re not on my email list and didn’t get it earlier this month!
This is something new that I’m so excited to share with you this holiday season! This 30 Day guide includes family recipes, activities, and daily challenges to build and bring together your family. I’ve included in-person activities as well as virtual ones! Feel free to share the challenge with your family, near and...
Frick yea, it’s that time where ALL the things are happening and you need SIMPLICITY to keep your sanity.
Let me tell you. Here’s what you can do:
This fall, I’m really trying to be intentional about more self-love in my day!
My kids just started going to school, and while I thought being home with them was tough, I’ve learned that there’s times I totally miss having them around.
...Then there’s other times then I don’t mind at all as I’m getting work done uninterrupted
(any other work from home parents reading this and feel me on the completely opposite moods?!)
All that said, I know I go through the motions SO much now - the whole wake up, do my morning mindset & workout, get kids up, bring them to school, start work, lunch, wrap work, kids home, homework, dinner and I’m whooped. We all go through that or a similar struggle.
But I want you to remember to focus and care about Y O U and your mindset
If you’re not doing anything for your mindset (I choose to journal, pray and meditate) then check out the guide!
If you’re not working out or if you want a great guided...
Hey there friend, you may not know this about me, but I’m a recovering perfectionist. But not the kind that needs everyone else to be perfect… just me. You know the type?
The truth is, I used to be really hard on myself. Like reallyyyy hard on myself.
There used to be something inside me that allowed me to dish out all the compliments and inspiration to literally anyone I came across, except for myself.
“You look amazing in that dress!”
“You’re down 2 pounds this week? You rock!!”
And while I always mean the compliments that I give out, there was not one single time that I could compliment myself and actually believe it. I was the Queen of Negative Self-Talk.
“This dress is just way too tight and my bloated belly makes me look like I’m entering the second trimester”
“I’ve been working out for almost a month and the scale hasn’t...
Tell me if this whole eating clean & staying healthy in mind, body & home is more than you ever anticipated?!
5 years ago I started my own journey of “spring cleaning.” I decided I was capable of so much more than I was letting myself believe. I wanted to feel better, live happier, and declutter every aspect of my life! It all started by taking care of myself first.
In May of 2015 I did just that, I became focused on cleaning & healing my body of overexercise and under nutritioning (if that could be a word!) & I am now a healthy weight, was able to conceive & have a second healthier pregnancy & kept up with healthy lifestyle of fitness & clean nutrition postpartum.
Here's how I encourage my own Be Well Tribe members when they are ready to 'clean up' & live their best lives:
Meditation has been in & out of my life for almost 12 years now.
It all started back in college when I was going through that season of "sowing my wild oats". Neal, my then boyfriend, now husband, and I were split up. I was living in Jackson Hole, WY and having quite the time of my life! The mountain, the drinking, the being on my own, the eating out all the time, the boy, the camping trips, river floats, only a short stint at an internship with responsibilities...you get the picture - the typical 21 year old getting to live life without mom and dad for the first time.
It was around this same time Eat Pray Love came about and I started casually reading it. This same summer, after my internship and love affair (with both the beauty of Jackson Hole and w/ another man) were coming to an end, I was headed back to reality of graduating college & figuring out what the crap to do with the rest of my life....so I did something...
