Let's talk about cleanses. I actually had to have a hard discussion with my spouse, Neal, about cleansing. He finds cleansing, like our 3 Day Refresh quite easy and very helpful, whereas I find it OMG YOU'RE TELLING ME I CANNOT EAT THIS CHOCOLATE RIGHT NOW!?! If you've signed up for these meal plans then you've already seen the No-Cook one I sent a week ago! Well, this one is almost as good, because it's almost no-cook! And really the only cooked items are hard boiled eggs and rice -- you can't get much easier than that!

And since this is a simple plan, I'm going to keep this blog post simple - meal prepping has SIMPLIFIED things for me. I used to prep breakfasts, lunches and dinners every Sunday or Monday, but now I like to just prep on Monday 2-3 meals, my lunch and snacks are typically what I prep. Why? because for the most part, I am basic when it comes to breakfast, I'm always craving saute veggies and eggs and I have the time to make them in the morning, so I do. BUT that wasn't always the case and now that my kiddos are older and going into a preschool program, my time is limited, so I'm back to trying more prepped breakfasts to make going out...
There is a way to keep things super simple with your meal plan, still see results and not get bored with what you're eating!

This plant based meal plan looks so delicious - you won't even miss meat!
Breakfast includes a Vegan Caprese Avocado Toast (ya'll I LOVE me some avocado toast, and caprese bites of little cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, basil or dipped in pesto and drizzled w/ balsamic are what always bring to parties these days, so that toast is like 100% up my alley and I think you'll fall in love too.
Also, my husband, kids and I LOVE the sweet potato curry with chick peas and coconut milk! It's just sweet enough for them and spicy enough for my husband! If you can't do spice or have family that doesn't do spice, do less of the curry or give yourselves a big dollop of plain greek yogurt to calm that spice down.
Also, total side bar, but I went almost all vegan in early 2018 when I was breastfeeding our youngest daughter and had to cut out all dairy product & then I decided to cut out the meat after watching too many Netflix documentaries (you know what I'm talking about if...
I can't wait to try the recipes in this 5 Day No Cook Meal Plan. I'm a fan of anything that can save me time spent in the kitchen so I'm most excited to try the Tropical Overnight Oats -- YUM!
Also, for dinner there's a chicken burrito bowl that's loaded w/ veggies & I think I will even be able to get the kids to eat this!
I wanna give you FULL disclosure, I RARELY do an entire meal prep anymore, what I use these meal preps I'm sharing here in my blog for is to help new clients or people like you that maybe LOVE meal prepping or want to get into it. WHY share something I don't use as much?! BC I used to use FULL meal preps ALL THE TIME when I was first learning to eat helathier - it simplified my life so I 100% believe they work.
Again, if it simplified, why stop? Well now I"m at a point where my family and I have about 8 meals the kids will eat on rotation (maybe I'll save those recipes for another day) but alllll of the meals have stemmed from ideas...

MY STORY BEGINS HERE:
I like to think of myself as a pretty clean eater.
Sure, I love pizza, cookies and the occasional Taco Bell, but for the most part, I make my meals and I eat foods from the outer sections of the grocery store aka fruits, veggies, and meats.
I like to spiralize noodles instead of have pasta. I seriously do love vegetables and could eat them almost all day (especially steamed or sauté), and I make 'nice' cream instead of binge on ice cream because I truly know I feel a lot better without artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and extra processed foods.
But again...I like pizza, cookies and the occasional Taco Bell. I'm human.
